Town Hall room hire
Hereford Town Hall is an historic, attractive venue which opened in 1904.
The council's registry service for births, deaths and marriages is based in the building, along with the mayor and city council. The venue is ideal for stress-free weddings - you could hold your wedding ceremony and reception in the same building.
Building features and facilities
The grand staircase framed by marble columns is an ideal location for photographs.
Ground floor - Room 4 - suitable for meetings for up to 10 people. First floor - The ornate assembly hall which is ideal for parties, conferences and training. Second floor - Stairs (with a stair lift) lead from the first floor to the council chamber and committee room 2.
There is a beautiful stained glass feature domed roof. The council chamber has impressive formal décor and furnishings.
Additional equipment is available free with room bookings - flip chart (not including pens and paper), projector and screen.
Refreshments are available to order in advance. Kitchen facilities are available.
Accessibility There is a lift available to the first floor and a stair lift to the second floor.
