Luton Hoo

Beyond the magnificent facade of the Mansion House which greets guests on arrival, lies a 5 star hotel on the border of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, which is like no other in the home counties. However, our guests quickly discover that behind the imposing grandeur of Luton Hoo, the atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming.

The Pillared Hall and elegant lounges, individual period rooms, Formal Gardens and the award-winning Wernher Restaurant create a unique ambience of gracious living which is without equal in the locality. The Country Club is set within a Grade II* listed Robert Adams courtyard which previously formed the stables of the Mansion House.

It offers a superbly appointed Spa, an indoor infinity pool with a view onto woodlands and relaxed dining in the Adam’s Brasserie.  Here you can also enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the Adam’s Bar and the 19th Bar which is very popular with golfers who have just completed our Championship 18 hole par 73 golf course. 

By contrast, Warren Weir forms a world of its own. This ultimate exclusive-use venue is surrounded by tumbling water, and features light and airy function rooms for business meetings, special occasions and weddings, or any event where the emphasis is on complete privacy.

Replenishing the natural habitat of Luton Hoo has been just as important to us as restoring the Mansion House to its former glory. Beyond the Formal Gardens, designed by Capability Brown, stretch over 1,000 acres of glorious parkland, meadows, woodlands, lakes, rivers and nature trails to be explored.

Not all luxury hotels in Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire are the same, and at Luton Hoo there is simply so much to enjoy and experience that we have our own fleet of specially customized London taxis to ferry our guests around the estate. The only difference being that our taxi cabs are free.

With excellent transport links between St. Pancras and Luton Parkway railway stations, we are as easily reached from London as we are from nearby Cambridge. And Luton Airport puts us in touch with cities from all over Europe.
