Sheepdog Display using Indian Runner Ducks and Border Collies with audience participation.
Meirion has appeared on three series of the popular BBC One Man & His Dog and is a past National Champion of Wales and past captain of Wales in International sheepdog trials competitions.
Meirion Owen & The Quack Pack

Meirion is the third generation involved with training and competing with his sheepdogs, his late father and grandfather were excellent sheepdog trainers and competitors.

Spending time with his dogs is his way of life from training, competitions, demonstrations.
He runs training classes for farmers and smallholders and called upon by corporate companies to provide teambuilding, communication skill days.
Started competing at the age of nine and has achieved considerable success over the years being a past Welsh National Champion, Captain Wales’s team in International competitions and also been on three series of the BBC ‘One Man & His Dog’

These days time away with the ‘Quack Pack’ does not allow Meirion as much time on the competition field.
Has taken a very active role within the Sheepdog Societies and have held numerous positions over the years, within his own county Carmarthenshire, South Wales Association and the International Sheepdog Society:

Has had the opportunity to travel extensively abroad to judge and hold training classes.

Started in early the early 1990,s the ‘Quack Pack’ has developed to be the leading provider of sheepdog displays for Shows, Corporate Events, Community Groups, Clubs & Sport teams, Weddings, Birthday Parties, Private Parties, Schools, Collages and special occasions all over the UK.
This has now developed to be a team building, communication skills days for leading national and International companies and Meirion and the Quack Pack are called upon to use his skills in teaching communication between man and dog, where individuals have the opportunity to work the dogs on a flock of Indian runner ducks to navigate around a small obstacle course by giving word commands of left, right, stop and walk.
Very often the clients are being accessed on their ability in this situation by the companies to see the role their staff will undertake within the company structure,
